  • Now Under Accounts, tap on the +Add account
  • Tap on the Email
  • Enter the username and password.
If this method failed to set up your account then sign in to our email account and tap on the Manual Setup. Thereafter try to utilize the below settings.
Server Type: POP3
  • Enter your username and password.
  • Enter pop.att.yahoo.com in the POP3 server.
  • Enter Port - 995 and tap on the Next option.
  • Enter smtp.att.yahoo.co in the SMTP server.
  • Enter Port - 465  followed by username and password.
  • Tap on the Next.
check the Use secure connection box first while updating the Use secure connection settings and then update the port number if needed.
Try to avail the email activities on the Wi-Fi mode if it is not working other modes of connection.

Make sure to take advantage of the following SBCGlobal manual set-up email server settings.
  • Incoming (POP)- pop.att.yahoo.com
  • Outgoing (SMTP) smtp.att.yahoo.com (requires authentication)
  • Incoming mail server: POP3
  • Incoming/Outgoing User Name: Full AT&T email address, including domain (e.g., test@att.net, test@bellsouth.net)
  • Incoming mail port #: 995, Use secure connection checked
  • Outgoing mail port # 465, Use secure connection checked
In case if you want to sync your SBCGlobal.net account with the Microsoft Outlook, make sure to follow the below method carefully.
  • In the Microsoft Outlook, Choose "File" tab, and tap on the "Add Account" button to run the Add Account Setup.
  • Select "Manual Setup or Additional Server Types," and then click "Next." Choose "POP or IMAP" under the Choose Service page, and then tap on the "Next."
  • Enter your account details into the relevant fields, and then pick "POP3" from the "Account Type" drop-down menu.
  • Enter "inbound.att.net" (without quotes here and in all different entry fields) into the Incoming Mail Server field and "outbound.att.net" into the Outgoing Mail Server field.
  • Now in the User Name field, re-enter your email address and then type your sign-in password into the Password field.
  • Tap on the "More Settings" button, select the "Outgoing Server" field, and then check "My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires Authentication."
  • Choose "Advanced" tab, check "This Server Requires an Encrypted Connection (SSL)," and put the "995" into the "Incoming Server (POP3)" field.
  • Enter "465" within the "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" field, and then choose "SSL" from the "Use the Following Type of Encrypted Connection" drop-down menu.
  • Now to configure the mailbox, Click "OK," then "Next".
  • Thereafter Click "Finish," then "Close" to exit the wizard.
